Queen Margaret
This roomis named after Queen Margaret of Scotland(The sister of Henry VIII), having stayed at the hall in the early 16thC on her way to battle in Eccleshall.
Having looked at this room from the outside, people staying, tell me that they have seen a dark figure of a vailed lady at the window.
Another guest told me that they had their personnal objects moved around the room, once they placed them down where the owners thought they had laid them, when they came back in the room they were moved again.
The room is full of character and has many beams and sloping floors. The old servants quarters is now an en suite to the bedroom, with a double shower, toilet and sink. There is a superkingsize poster bed and 32" plasma TV.
